Description

Introduction to the philosophical issues of determining what is true, what is good, and theories of morality. Applications are made to professional conduct, engineer-client relations, and product liability. Legal problems and the engineering code of ethics are discussed from a biblical perspective

Outcomes

  1. Appreciate the importance of combining moral excellence, spiritual maturity and exceptional engineering skill in the life of the Christian engineer and scientist

  2. Develop a personal ethic consistent with a Biblical world view that may be applied to life and your chosen profession.

  3. Understand the fundamental concepts essential to the most common moral theories.

  4. Demonstrate examples of proper and improper behavior in the engineering and science professions.
